I am not understanding why, but when I add a second instrument to patchwork synth with the same settings as the first... the first one dies. I had to kill the other and re-load the first, then the second one wouldn't work.

Is there a problem running multiple VST instruments?

I'm running: Patchwork (Standalone) ‐> Patchwork synth -> VSTi1 + VSTi2.

I'm not sure, I understand, what exactly you're trying to do. Are you just trying to mix 2 synths together?

I just tested it like this and it worked fine:

You need to make sure you use the synths in parallel, not in series (one after the other), just as shown in the previous post.
