I checked it few times, but I was also talking about other tracks.
But... You're right - is easier if everyone else checks their tracks (single) than one person check them all.

Good to see the return of some old masters and long standing contributors  Nice also to see such a wide range of different synths used and approaches to the challenge   Good Luck to everyone!

Please make sure your track info is complete - there are still a number with incomplete information.
No of entries which do not mention which DAW used: 9.

sorry, cannot resist the emojis :hihi:
I edited my post so that it now shows which DAW I used.

This month especially it would be nice if people included a description on their soundcloud. I'm curious what synths are being used and can otherwise only find out by searching through this 19 page thread. Many of us just use the soundcloud playlist that is on page one fyi.

holy s*(@ guys, these submissions are ALL really good. I fell down the rabbit hole for over an hour just randomly listening to submissions and there's not one bad one in the bunch! I'm not even contributing to the contest but I was just curious. WOW.

I also noticed that some people thoughtfully included the synth name in their Soundcloud title. I just checked and found that it's possible to change the title in Soundcloud multiple times without breaking anything, and the change instantly shows up on the OSC voting list. This way, nobody has to even open the Soundcloud page to learn which synth is being used, particularly useful this month (for the time-challenged among us) since it takes about four hours to listen to all the great submissions just once! (In my case, for example, I've added JP6K to the title, in parentheses, and will delete that addendum when the contest is over.)

This is fun. I must say - nice OSC. Various synths - various styles.
If I get into the "top 60" results, I will be happy. :)
Thank you all for listening.

Well I don't list a DAW because I don't use one. I run the software equivalent of the old HiFi separates!
keyboard->sequencer->synth->recorder.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

That used to part of the rule about naming the track. I don't know when it changed so you didn't have to put the name of the Synth in the title?

it used to be: KVR Name - Track title - OSC# - Synth name

eg DoctorBob - Middling - OSC#179 - Synth1

I wanted to have some fun on this one so I picked a unique synth I love to play around with.
Daw Ableton 11, 4x instances of Monster toybox, 4x Magic dice by baby audio and one instance of RF-DSP for compression and reverb.
Hi, can you tell me which synth you're using, please?

If I search for 'monster toybox' I can only find these two

Also, your track is not downloadable from SoundCloud

Cheers

"Monster xxxx" is a nice serie, but mostly romplers (sampled instruments). And by toybox I understand Monster Toys - some funny instrument from Monster serie. But that's sampled one.
I tried to made similar sounds using this funny plugin and I found some of them (similar) so it's probably that Monster Toys. Even if sampled, it is used very creative way, but I'm not sure if not against the rules - Monster Toys is very VERY small crappy plugin made probably just for fun. To achieve sounds like in this song, you need that Magic dice and RF-DSP with lot of reverb + probably few more eq etc. to achieve, for example, that pad in background. So big plus if we're talking about creativity (take anything and made something interesting from it), but still - not a synth.

But this is a special month and I would let it go because why not. But is not me to decide.

Yea I promise to you it was downloadable a month ago but I guess it went down since then lol. I wasn't sure if it would be acceptable or not but I'm ok with a DQ, it was just for fun after all. As far as why my song cant be downloaded on SC, that I'm unsure of, never had that issue with my songs in the past.
