Chill man, hes on your site. McDSP is last developer i'd invest my time or money in. They are old not only by being long on the market. They are mentally on the 90's, their policies are a joke, what tou can surely confirm.

With the amount of these types of contests I've entered, you'd think I would have won something by now. I think some semi-large portion of these don't have any prize for anyone at the end. Especially a small business where there is no accountability. Some huge corporation doing this is likely legit because there's tons of employees involved who could whistleblow, wouldn't be worth it for some prize thats cost is peanuts to a huge company.

A small company like McDsp? No one would ever know, and they would never get caught.
