Different products go on sale at different times.
So they have multiple sales per year and possibly more than once per product.

they're changed the spending requirements. their vouchers are a joke now.

Well, the $25 voucher I got this month has a spend limit of $40, so it is very acceptable.

To me, of course. YMMV and all that.

That said, they cunningly price anything interesting at $39. :ud:

Remember that the voucher was dependent on your spending in the previous 12 months to date. They also announced they were pausing their vouchers for November and December (and so no stacking with black friday and christmas sales).

My read is that the voucher blitz of the last couple of years was Dirk goosing the customer numbers for the sale - and now the ultimate owners are - very probably given it's a PE firm - planning on milking it as a cash cow so don't plan to send out as many vouchers as previously.

I've been buying just the cheap Mega XXL "get any 10 plugins" from the marketplace here. So Dirk is upset that I'm not sending him enough money lately, so no vouchers for me. But why would someone's inactive old account start getting them now.. bizarre stuff!

I don't get it, I thought the 'get any 10 plugins' thing was tied to the account getting the Mega XXL sub, or do you mean you've been buying the cheap plugins from someone?

When I try to place the order, I get this error:
"We regret that your order could not be accepted. We value your business and would like to help you complete this order. Please contact us for assistance."

I honestly don't know. It went through for me.

Of course, I just posted in case someone had the same issue.

I contacted Melda.

No, they are not tied to the account. The subscription FAQ even mentions you are free to sell the voucher if you like. The only "downside" to the Mega voucher is that you need to buy all 10 plugins at once. So you can't leave any voucher stashed for future greats like Silver Bullet's to get released..
