Jo you are adding so many features people on here have asked for, thanks for doing this. Do you think we could ever get MIDI Fold like Tracktion Waveform and reaper have in the future for when making drums in the midi editor?

By MIDI fold I mean to just show the named tracks or used tracks in the midi editor. When making midi drums it would get a rid of a lot of unnecessary midi lanes on the piano roll and just make it more easy to do.

I agree with the amount of new features, it's great to see all these new things being added and making MuLab so great!

One thing though, I know new features are what attract new customers, but if possible, please fine tune what's there and make everything we have easier to use. I know you do a good job of this Jo, I'm not criticising or being negative at all, I just think it would be great for things we already have to be improved and not forgotten about.

Jo, couple questions, is intentional that multi-point-envelope, note key map, audio file recorder, step sequencer doesn't has the new controls on its title bar?

Also the in audio file recorder, it would show the stereo waveform when recording in stereo right?

Multi-Point Envelope: Yes it's intentional. It's because it also includes those other essential controls.

Note Key Map and Step Sequencer: Will be fixed in the next update.

Audio File Recorder has no standard top controls.

Thanks for the clarifications, but on MPEnv, at least the little engine icon should be appear like those little modules right?
the quick replacement command from that menu directly from the module is very useful

All good now. I like how in having the "monitor note while dragging" preference allows you to click and hold the left mouse button on the note, and after a small pause the note sounds. No need to drag! Nice touch.

• Note Key Mapper and Step Sequencer now can also fold their top controls.

Now,
I was messing around for a couple hours or so, and I found another bug:
It's a GUI one
Steps:
1. resize the main window
2. on the channel rack (docked), open a new rack with the button
3. by the addition of the new rack, the right side of the main window it resize when it shouldn't do, creating a blank space until manually touch the right side of the main window and resize it.
The bug gets worse the more stretched horizontally the said main window.

What's changed:

• When moving a track up/down, then there are 2 options: Drop it before/below a track, or drop it onto a track = make it a sub-track. That's how it already was. Now this is also made visually more clear while dragging a track up down.

Love the new improvements! This in particular. But I wondered if you could do the same for racks?

I had a weird session yesterday which never happened before. I move tracks about to have rhythm stuff at bottom, then move racks to match. When moving racks, I had one disappear, so I had to reload the project I'd just started. Then I had one track playing solo and moved rack but the meter stopped working.

But I also find quite often, when trying to drop a rack to a specific position it gets moved to the end of the racks. So if you could make this work like the tracks it may solve the issues?

Maybe you accidentally dropped it on a rack slot?

But I also find quite often, when trying to drop a rack to a specific position it gets moved to the end of the racks.

Due to a little bug, that indeed could happen if you dropped it exactly in between two racks. That bug is fixed in the next update.

• MUX Front Panels: Waveform colors can be more specified, eg. can be different for edge and body color.
• Sequence editor: When drawing short curve segments, the newly drawn seqment could be too steppy. Fixed.

• Improved dragging racks left-right.

Only noticed this yesterday so maybe its been there for a while but, I was playing one of the Amped bass presets, there is a mixer module renamed to Mono that can be maximized to full screen height, is that how its supposed to be ? Just curious.
