Hello, I'm hoping somebody can help. I purchased Triaz back in Jan 2022 through Plugin Boutique. I've just discovered this evening about the VST3 Native version for free so downloaded the demo software but when I get to input the serial number the expected format is 4 sets of 4 characters but the serial number from my Kontact version is 5 sets of 5 so I get "The serial you've entered is not valid". I have created an account on Wave Alchemy but there's nowhere in there to register a product against my account. Any help greatly appreciated before I try Wave Alchemy's support.
I really liked Triaz a lot but found using it within Kontakt to be frustrating (above average frustrating as I use Reason). Rather excited by the prospect of future expansion packs although it seems the core library is bigger than the original core library in the Kontakt version I originally purchased.

Thanks - no I see the multi-out (which is awesome) - what I'd love to see in a vst drum machine is the ability to have parallel multi-out and audio to it's internal master. Essentially just makes the mutli-out a send, so, for example, you could send the snare track to a return track that has a special vst reverb, etc., while still taking advantage of the drum machine's glue fx and master channel.kraster wrote: Sat Feb 17, 2024 3:56 amIt does have multiple outputs. Even the effects can be routed to dedicated outputs,JoeCat wrote: Sat Feb 17, 2024 2:35 am Demoing and it's quite awesome.
I'll be the one person with this feature request / observation, but it's one of the only things I miss that keep me going back to using Drum Racks in Live:
Would love to see the ability to route drums to out individual channels + master - so you could glue the kit in Triaz, but essentially use vst effects per track.
Certainly not a deal breaker but would be nice to have - but not sure anyone has that feature.
Ableton Live Drum Racks basically allows something close since you can add actual effects chains on returns - the only difference is that, because it's a true return, the effects end up back in the master channel, but it's not too much of a difference either way for most effects.
Anyway, it's more of an edge case for me - I do a lot of weird electronica / ambient where I may thow a piece of percussion into some glitchy delay, etc. but still want to glue the drums.
Of course, you can do this with Triaz by using the multi-outs and your own master channel, but I'd like the ability to use the built-ins also.

Since hours I try to start/stop the sequencer and pattern change from midi but it simply dont work in 9 from ten cases. The notes are right cause in 1 from ten cases it works. I am totally puzzled....

In case this is useful to anyone else.
I've created a MidiFileMapper map from GM Drum Layout to (almost) Triaz default preset layout. Only difference is that the two default foley slots have been assumed to be Tom H and Tom M, as GM Midi beats often have 3 toms. Please keep in mind that this will not work with all Triaz kits, but in many cases it will work well enough or at least be a good starting point.
It's possible to record the converted MIDI clips directly in the sequencer, see manual:
Download the map (XML file) as an attachment here, or from the GitHub PR here: https://github.com/markheath/midifilemapper/pull/11

Seems to works as expected for me. Host sync on and pattern 1 from C6 upwards. This is not start or stopping — everything would be running along with the host including a blank pattern as needed.tatanka wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 8:39 am Can anyone tell me whats wrong with this ?

NB) With host sync off you can use G2 and G2# to start stop.

It does spike my M2 ultra CPU when having GUI open and or triggering it from an active selected TRIAZ track like crazy BTW.
When GUI is closed and/or selected a non-triaz channel/track it is okay.
Anybody else?

So I tried the demo. The sample randomiser is great, but the midi randomiser is extremely unmusical. How's everyone else finding that aspect?
Is it possible to load in the midi pattern only from a preset and keep your current samples and settings?

As a former XO user I was hoping the auto tagging would work a bit better. Dropped in a load of Samples from Mars and Goldbaby drum hits and it’s tagged them all as Foley. I know you can click on the sample icons and manually fix but I was hoping it might be a bit more ‘smart’. The thought manually tagging hundreds of drum hits is a bit off-putting.

There are very few drum machines that do this by 'Find Similar Sound' - Just XO, ATLAS and Live 12 AFAIK. I think the best we can hope for is that WA tag their own drum sets for import.2cynikal wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 11:35 am As a former XO user I was hoping the auto tagging would work a bit better. Wave Alchemy already commented on this. The midi randomizer is currently rather rudimentary and will be improved later on.m-ac wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 11:25 am So I tried the demo. So not both needed as I thought but only work ONE OR THE OTHER way. So you would need a blank pattern to stop the sequencer playing....not very logic for me and not explained in the manual. But if it works.

My understanding is with host sync on you just trigger full patterns — using a blank pattern if needed. With host sync off you can use start/stop in conjunction with pattern triggers.
For me start/stop doesn't work ideally in an Ableton clip as a start trigger at the beginning of a looped clip doesn't seem to work.

Apparently, there's already a discount code available for Triaz Native for 10% off the £79 price and includes a free sample pack (https://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/product/chords-stabs/) at least being given out by one YT creator.
Code: TRIAZLAUNCH
I really like Triaz Native and think the £79 launch price is fair, but it's pretty annoying that this same offer wasn't given to existing Wave Alchemy customers (own several products myself) or those who bought on launch day. We're what, only two days out from launch and a further discount and freebie is already available? Doesn't seem right.

No but you can do it the other way around by clicking the lock pattern. (ie. Keep the pattern while changing the sound.m-ac wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 11:25 am

The workaround would be to save your current setting as a preset and then load in your pattern then lock the pattern and reload in your preset.
Messy though. It would be good to be able to lock the sound so you can just bounce between patterns.
