Absolutely thrilled to see a new version of one of my alltime favourite synths!! First impression of the sound is absolutely mindblowing! Huge congrats to Urs and the team for yet another awesome sounding synth. The only thing that puts a damper on it for me is the color scheme, since I have really bad vision.
Has by any chance somebody made a dark scheme similar to Zebralette2 for it yet and would be so kind to share it? That would be super awesome!!

Ok, I exported supersaw from Zebralette 3 - you can clearly hear on 12 sec till 20 sec the big deep wob and then on higher note, you can clearly hear the siren like wob on 27 sec.

Here is screenshot as well.

Have you already tried it with activated Drift?HcDoom wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:47 pm Ok, I exported supersaw from Zebralette 3 - you can clearly hear on 12 sec till 20 sec the big deep wob and then on higher note, you can clearly hear the siren like wob on 27 sec.

Thanks. Will be changed in the next version.Chris-S wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:15 pm Hi, some typos in the user manual:
Page 11: onb the left -> on the left
Page 12: if Voices is 2 or hihger -> if Voices is 2 or higher
There was a third one but I'm not able to re-find.

Congratulations Urs and the u-He team, this is quite an achievement.
Even in this stripped-down form, the depth of sound coming from this - from striking, acoustic-sounding transients to the near-imperceptible but tangible movement in sustained notes - is something I've not really heard coming from a digital synthesizer before - at least, not without an immense amount of work, whereas here it's so simple to dial in.
I'm no keyboard wizard, but I can't wait to be able to put this through its paces in the full Z3 release, using CLAP poly modulation and an expressive controller like Seaboard. And I think much better musicians than me are going to love playing this instrument.
I'm also not a presets fan by any means, but many of these patches are really excellent, and musically inspiring without being domineering, synth-tour-de-force type things that can't be used in musical contexts.
Again congratulations, and it's been well worth waiting for.

Since MPE is missing, while you already have it in other beta releases of older synths: Are there things you're considering doing differently this time?tasmaniandevil wrote: Fri Feb 16, 2024 1:26 pm Some features are still missing and will get implemented during the beta period, e.g. MPE compatibility and support for CLAP's polyphonic parameter modulation.
There's one thing that I'd like to put out for consideration: Can you make MPE Timbre a dedicated mod source? I'm having some issues with the concept of (re)using Control A to control Timbre if in MPE mode. If patches have been made without MPE in mind, this is likely not going to work well. Also, Control A / B (or macros, XY pads) are usually meant as global modulations, not per voice modulations. Imho it would be easier to understand and more explicit to separate this clearnly.
For example Arturia changed this in their newer synths (Augmentes Series) where Timbre is now a dedicated mod source that MPE patches make use of. In older synths (like Pigments) they had to resort to a very similar approach by resusing Macro 1, which sometimes works but often causes (at least me) troubles.
Not insisting on this particular solution, maybe you have an even better idea

You should copy your post to this discussion: viewtopic.php?t=607154lattetown wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:38 pm The new Zebralette 3 interface looks great!
One question: how would you like us to provide UX feedback?
fyi, I'm a UX designer and noticed some "low hanging fruit" issues that should help with low vision accessibility.
I’m sure it’ll be seen here but the relevant UI discussion thread would make it easier to refer back to.

So, here is the waveform in the beginning:HcDoom wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:47 pm Ok, I exported supersaw from Zebralette 3 - you can clearly hear on 12 sec till 20 sec the big deep wob and then on higher note, you can clearly hear the siren like wob on 27 sec.
and in the beating section:
So, maybe Z'ette3 is using some unusual detuning law?

ExportWav seems to export only 100 single cycles in a wavetable. Will there be an option to have up to 256 single cycles since Serum and others synths can import that amount? Maybe I overlooked something.

More Oscillators, more modulators, filters, more fx, modular, etc. It's going to be pretty incredible.jbraner wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:43 pm I will admit that I've never tried Zebra 2 or Zebralette before. This synth is really cool!
I will play around more when I have time - and follow this thread. When the "full" Zebra 3 is ready - will it be like this but with more Oscillators? That's amazing because this is pretty cool as it is - with only the one!![]()

this coding not know any clear and precise and depth and aliveness, onloy closed weak and like stuck inside something a small hut with a blanket inside. everything sound without definitions, it is like closed inside a bad short reverb for all sounds..
Good luck zebra4 2034 ?
I genuine disspointment
