the drum sampler is silent after loading the project

Micro drum sampler + MT power drumkit2. They play samples according to the clip. If I open a saved project, the drums don't play. I have to go to the sampler settings to play some sound and everything works. If I save the project and open it again, it is silent. Is this standard behavior?

This is not standard behavior, although it is already standard this is a bug that cannot be fixed for a very long time. A forum search will show this

I installed Waveform 12 on Linux (Debian...) It doesn't work quite the same there as it does on Win11

MT Power Drumkit2 - isn't it nagware, where you have to open the GUI periodically unless you paid for it?
... it was at one time, although that restriction may have been removed in newer versions.

Correct...each/every time you load the project, you need to open the vst to acknowledge the nag. It stays mute until you do.
