Hi,
Could someone please explain me why all the u-He synths have a -12 transpose default init ?
Is it a legacy from vintage synths ? a way to be sure it's "absolute init", and you have to tweak it first ?
Any reason? Should I leave it -12 or set it 0 each time?
Thank you.

"Set as default patch" option is going to solve this when it gets implemented. Workaround right now is to change it to zero and lock it. Save it as a DAW preset and use that.

Yep! These days I just customize it the way I want and enable those padlocks and save it as preset. The only problem is that sometimes, when the preset is opened, it loads the instrument in the saved state but without the pad locks. I wonder why this happens.Urs wrote: Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:30 am You can save a patch as "default" in the root folder and that solves it, too.

The debate about where C3 is located is still on, so u-he made an earlier reservation.
