Not sure if this has been posted yet, but probably worth posting again. These sysex files load nicely into Tal-pha.

Hiding an optional envelope as mod source is only half the cake. How do you hide its mod destination(s) without cluttering the GUI? Yes. Me, as an emulation purist, could live with Env2 as an option in the VCA section. But do you want more? Env2 as DCO pitch modulator for example?briefcasemanx wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 11:24 am Oh no, a hidden envelope! You mean if I want to tweak a preset I'd have to actually know the synth I'm working with and where things are? Good god, anything but that!

You don't have to hide or even have a mod destination if it's hard coded. Just one click / one button would be needed to access the different envelopes..
Why are you making it like it would be so hard to implement? Just have 3 small buttons next to the env that is currently there, to select which one you wanna work on.. Just have the graphic update to whatever your currently tweaking.
In fact that's how many synths operate. When selecting a preset the knobs and faders don't change, unless you touch them.. Then they become active to the current patch. Nord lead did this.. Jd800 did this.. Heck I'm sure most synths worked like this..

It's not just one click and one button. You forget that nostalgia farts like me WANT that the main Env1 still works as intended. So your optional hard coded pitch and amp env tabs need at least an on/off button additionally each to override all things main Env1 is meant for.Yoloswagger9 wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 3:09 pm You don't have to hide or even have a mod destination if it's hard coded. No it wouldn't need to override anything.. The filter and pitch env would be additional and separate...
Anyways...

I can't be 100% sure, but it looks like he's using Tal-Pha to control the MKS-50 hardware too.

He didn’t say you are not allowed to. He suggested you move on. I imagine in order to stop spamming this thread with your 1 envelope, because the truth is, it’s so exhausting now and nobody here will be able to help you with that. Doesn’t matter how angry you get. Why don’t you email the developer (the only person in existence who can possibly help you) and let us know about his response? That would be more constructive.Yoloswagger9 wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 3:51 pmI'm not allowed to answer people now? To discuss?[nx] wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 3:37 pmSend a request to TAL and move on. As far as I know, the only restrictions in the demo versions are occasional white noise. In theory, they should work.

So my thoughts and suggestions are not welcome here. That's OK. Have a great weekend I will indeed leave the thread. I won't contact the dev though, cause that's not my goal. My goal was to discuss it. But as soon as I reply and answer to posts directed towards me, i'm told to gtfo... It's cool. 8 upvotes in just an hour... Haha you don't even realise that just proves my point.... It's hilarious. Peace!audiouser720 wrote: Fri Feb 23, 2024 4:16 pmHe didn’t say you are not allowed to. He suggested you move on.
