Ahh.. so it IS a bug. Nice to know that it isn't just my computer that messes things up..

When you use the draw-tool and stretch notes to end the first note where the second start (say, 4 quarters-notes in a measure), the note-off event seems to be at the first tick of the next beat rather than the last tick of the prevoius beat. This is a problem because it can cause drop-outs in some cases, lilke with monophonic sounds. OR.. is it just my computer that acts wierd? :?

Like I say, i'm not at a computer with Tracktion at the moment, but Lunch has posted how to do it (after my post, earlier in this thread). That should cover it

Well I like reading about the updates, it's very exciting and I don't even use Traction. The scribble scrabble note is classic! I had to save this just to look at and laugh at from time to time.

But I will be purchasing Tracktion in the future. HELL YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH SOFTWARE!

The scribble note is a true classic. I have rarely found comedy with such good repeat entertainment value. Every single time I even -think- about Philip's one-word replay to the "pants" tool ('dreadful') it cracks me up. I don't know why, but I thought it was genius.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Yes.

Select a clip, select a note (or group of notes), they turn red (the notes you dont want should still be yellow), press v.

Easy.
Thank you!
That is bitchin'........ :hail:

I suggest you try this URL. It offers you a Tracktion license for free but the offer ends at 12/31/2004.

what's pencil eraser?

"E" is for eraser. "D" is for pencil (draw). "S" is for arrow (select). All the shortcuts in Tracktion make so much sense. :)

ahh, that should save a lot of time on midi editing.
