Questions about panning

Hi, I am using Waveform 12 free, trying to make a track change its panning level in the middle of the song. Is this possible to do? Would I have to download a separate extension for it?

I've never used the free version, but if it includes the volume & pan plugin (likely) and it also includes automation (likely), then I assume you can accomplish automated panning. I guess you just need to learn how.
Drag the little A icon to the volume & pan plugin and then select Pan. You'll get an editable automation line on the track that controls the pan.
You can also click the A icon and use menus to select the same thing.
