Hi guys!
I just can't understand what is it and how to operate with it.

This might sound strange, but you are exactly right: those are markers. Open up the Marker track (use the eye icon at the top right) and they will show up more clearly.
Probable cause: you have hit the Enter key sometimes. Enter is the hotkey for adding a marker.

Surely there must be consensus by now...

Yeah, and if you look closely they are numbered. You can then press the number <Enter> to jump to that spot later.
So when reviewing a track, you can quickly mark where you may want to make adjustments (i.e. fix MIDI note or velocity; drum fill, pitch correction, etc.).
In the properties panel, you can also change the name, so can actually call them "Verse 1" or "Chorus", etc. Move them around, make them fat enough to read that text.

Oh, thank you guys! It were several random markers for real!
Seems like it's impossible to delete Enter as a hotkey for Markers?

Highlight them, and then <control>x to remove one or highlight them in the marker track and delete multiple/all.

I just created a useless macro and associated the Enter key with it. That successfully negated the creation of markers. If you want to re-associate Enter with markers, just delete the macro.Vollofi wrote: Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:58 pm Seems like it's impossible to delete Enter as a hotkey for Markers?
Or, you can just be aware that Enter will create new markers and either take steps to avoid pressing that key when it's not a good time to press it or going back and deleting the markers you didn't mean to create.
I should probably note that Waveform calls it "return" rather than Enter.
