I am trying to export a smf1 file in Waveform free, but when I go to Action,Export, the tracks are combined into one file. How can I separate the tracks and export them as one file? Or is there an alternative way to do so?

Waveform free で、smf1ファイルをエクスポートしようとしていますが、Action,Exportからいってもトラックが一つにまとめられて出てきます。どうすればトラックを分けて1ファイルで出力できますか?もしくはそうするための代替手段はありますか?

Make sure you have selected the clips across the different tracks before exporting. Waveform only exports the selected clips.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Sorry, how to do it?

Post

You shift+click the clips (horizontally for a track, vertically for multiple tracks).

Maybe I am confused: are you looking to create a single file with multiple MIDI tracks in it, or multiple files, each with one MIDI export?

Maybe you need to set the MIDI channel for each MIDI clip. Modern DAWs and plugins don't care about MIDI channels. Every MIDI clip that you make in Waveform has a MIDI channel of 1. I think that's why the export puts every track into one MIDI track.

Make sure the Control Panel at the bottom is open. Select a MIDI clip and set the MIDI channel. If you set the MIDI clip to a different channel, it will render out to a different track.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
