It give me a strange feelling, something like caos, maybe if the buttons would be more centered, grouped.. idk
Its arguably upsetting.
I thought I must have got a virus on my computer, it frightened me at first, until I realized that it was an artistic choice.

The other way was less bewildering.

To me, the buttons were floating on the background waves in a rhythmic way . . . :violin:

It confusing, for some reason. Its not the most confusing thing in the world, but it takes an extra second or two to stare at it. It seems like it goes against the streamlined, effortless design philosophy of the product. It doesn't go with it. It bunks the energy a little bit. Its starts you off through the door, on your musical journey, with a stumble.

I'm not scared! Who said I was scared?! :-o

Could do with something though, 5 years of insomnia is a killer!

It looked like a virus on my computer. All jumbled and randomly spaced. Which is frightening because I'm scared to loose my data, lose my music. I have to immediately go into emergency mode when something like that happens. Its like calling in a bomb threat. There may be no actual bomb, but it took me a second to figure that out. Now I just remain confused why somebody would do such a thing. I mostly feel better now, but every time I see it, I get flashbacks like one of those Vietnam veterans. Post traumatic syndrome.

IMO, I would just roll that idea back, and never mention it again. These are BETA's, everything doesn't HAVE to make it into the final, or thee would just be called finals.

MuLab App M9.5.15 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • Further refined startup project dialog.
  • When building long audio file overviews (.OVW files), a progressbar is shown instead of a spinning cursor.
  • Other small improvements.
You can use these shortcut keys on the startup dialog:

L = Last project = the most recent one
O = Open project...
N = New project
Q = Quit

Here is how the refined startup now looks like, with moving waves:

Yes it is, and it works really well! The colors of the dancing waves also change - something I hadn't noticed before! Well done!

Excellent! Great job Jo :)
