And whilst I'm on graphical / GUI bits... I can auto-arrange modules in the modular area to fit the window. What I'd like to do is have the right-click on the window-size buttons offer a "size to content" option. Useful for quickly getting a maximized window back to a useful "restored" size, rather than still occupying the full screen.

Will be fixed in the next update. Thx for reporting thispljones wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2024 5:14 pm Another really tiny graphical glitch. If I use the "[-]" minimize button, it highlights when I click it then Windows minimizes the application. When Windows restores the application, the button is still highlighted. Hovering or clicking in most parts of the window don't change this. If I click the button whilst it's highlighted and drag and release, that fixes it.

I hope u understood that to do it u u should add master track in mixer panel and add new feature "Hiding-Unhiding tracks in mixer panel".Dont forget that master track's location in left panel should be like in picture to make harmony with mixer panel.Idea is behind of this designing to get free space in mixer panel hiding master track in mixer panel,to give nice look,to get access to master track easily. To say philosophically, losing is to win.I mean If u defeat, win yourself then u lose and win at the same time.THat is u defeating yourself become winner. To say shortly Losing(0) is to Win(1) 0=1 So dont forget to lose(To donate).U know my mail adressRudolf23051987 wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:09 pmalso, tracks in mixer panel doesnot look good i meant height of tracks should be decreasedRudolf23051987 wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2024 9:50 pm Hi,Mutools mulab 9 gui looks ugly coz browser panels sizes and structure doesnot make harmony with left panel of Mutools. So i decided to show u how it would be good.Master track should be inside of left panel so when u change left panels size master track change its size too https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_KRYVn ... sp=sharing

MuLab App M9.5.18 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html
What's changed:
What's changed:
- MUX already had the option to define Note Key Names, ie. specific name labels for the midi keys. Such Note Key Names are then displayed at the left side of the sequence editor, instead of the piano keys. Now this feature is extended so that a MUX can be linked to use the Note Key Names of one of its child modules, to avoid the user having to manually copy the Note Key Names.
For example a MuDrum like patch typically contains a Drum Note Processor module.
If you tell the parent MUX to use the Note Key Names of this Drum Note Processor module then things get much more automated and easy to use.
This Note Key Names Link feature can also be handy when using (drum) plugins inside a MUX, so that this MUX will automatically take over the Note Key Names of that plugin.
How to do it:
MUX -> options menu -> Note Key Names.
When that dialog is up there are 2 ways to make a link:
1 )Drag-drop a child module on that dialog
2) Use the dialog Options button -> Link to... and choose a relevant child module from the list. - When converting legacy MuDrum presets, these will automatically use the above Note Key Names Link feature so that the main MuDrum MUX links to the relevant Drum Note Processor module. That will make the drum pad names visible in the sequence editor.
- Audio streams & samples now have "Show In System File Browser" in their context menu.
- When clicking a window's minimize button and restoring it, the minimize button was still down. Fixed.
- Rack desk now has an explicit options button.
- Rack knobs now use the rack color.
- Added a couple of rack slot related color preferences.
- Changed a couple of preferences wrt. coloring tracks and racks.
The "Unfocused Track + Rack Coloring" has been replaced by "Unfocused Track + Rack Color Saturation" and "Unfocused Track + Rack Color Luminance".
The "Default Focused Rack Color" has been removed, now the Default Rack Color is used where necessary, then the above Saturation and Luminance prefs are applied for non-focused tracks and racks.
Thanks to this new method, the track+rack coloring prefs are more easy to use. - Fixed a small difference in color between rack and track.
- Updated the default GUI color set.
- When upgrading projects and a too old project is encountered then an alert popped up which blocked the upgrade process.
Now the upgrading continues and the message is shown in the report at the end. - When upgrading projects and an audio file or plugin was not found then an alert popped up which blocked the upgrade process.
Now that project is skipped (not upgraded) and the upgrading continues and the message about the missing sample / plugin is shown in the report at the end. - Upgrade MuClips now also uses a progress bar.
- Tap Tempo feature: Right-click the tempo display. Also possible to create a shortcut for it.
- Tempo Slider now is a knob.
- Tempo Knob: Also possible to create a shortcut for it. And its window position now is memorized.
- Other small GUI tweaks & improvements.

Only thing is, can I still use the knob/slider colours I set previously? As the Rack settings override this. Just that I find it hard to see the slider positions peripherally as they blend in too much.

Just an idea...
As there are so many colour preferences, wouldn't it be useful to have a tabbed window? Then each section could be grouped for easier locating. Personally, I find the naming is a bit hit and miss. So I'm very carefully reading every preference to find what I need and see if that matches close enough to the thing I want to change.
Perhaps the Mux Tabs setup is coded in a way that could be translated for use in this way. Allowing a set of categorised tabs for Racks, Main Window, Composer, Editor, etc. Just as an example.
Not only that, but you could add the Button, Knob and Slider setups to this Tabbed window too, making it easier to switch between them when editing a theme.
Maybe even the Preferences could be grouped this way too, as they are quite a pain to trawl through.
I know all this takes less priority than many of the other items on the wishlist, but it's just an idea for improving the overall colouring system and merging it into one easier interface.

Yes those knobs. I preferred it how it was. How it is now makes them harder to see. Could we specify a colour for the rack knobs as well please?
I'm curious, how is it my slider is affected but Roberts isn't?

Personally i miss the options gear button at the right side in the expanded top controls of a MUX/plugin window.
With the collapsable top controls you guys suggested to keep it in the title bar all the time, but it's quite small there and for some unclear reason it feels a bit unintuitive to me because the controls are spread. Maybe it's my muscle memory that still has to adapt, but just wondering if i'm the only one who would like the on/off and gear button to be available as bigger buttons in the top controls bar, as was before M9.5.5, and only move them to the title bar when collapsed. Lets avoid making that another preference. Curious for your opinions.
