MuLab App M9.5.19 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • A bit more intensity for the rack slider/knob coloring.
  • When using high corner rounding, collapsed rack titles could overlap with the expand / on/off buttons. Fixed.

Yeah thanks, sorry. Just way too tired!

Looks good. If you turn the round corners all the way up, you get no module title at all in collapsed form. But you can figure things out with a little color coding. It looks better then overlapping.

I like the new color coding options in the mixing desk bar. That does help tidy things up. I notice that you cant drag and drop the default color. To set a module back to default, I have to open up the settings, copy the default hue, and past it into the pallet window. It would be easier to just drag and drop it like any other color.

I'm taking a closer look at the geometry of folded rack now that that brought it to my attention, and the singular power buttons, for each slot, are hidden when its collapsed to just the slider. It would be visually consistent to hide the top one also IMO. And there would be room for a few more visible title characters when its collapsed.

Edit, AHA, I see a little popup now. It works.
Minor observation, the popup looks best with rounded corners off, because the square lines fit better. If you rounded the corners on the popup box, might look nicer on square or round corners, or even make them round off with the global setting. It looks like there would be enough room on the box.

Not to my liking, but thanks for the update, it is an improvement, just think it'll take time adjusting to that!

MuLab App M9.5.20 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • Reverted the on/off and options button management for (un)folded module/plugin editors:
When folded they're in the titlebar, when unfolded they're in the top controls area.
  • A bit more intense rack slider/knob coloring for very dark/grayish racks.
  • MUX Front Panels -> Wave shape displays: When the edge and body colors were equal, the wave shape was not drawn nicely. Fixed.
  • Legacy MuSynth conversion: The waveform color was dependent on the global wave color, which was not intended. Fixed.
  • Recently saved MUX presets were not visible in the popup preset list. Fixed.
  • Other small improvements.

Thank you, those rack sliders look much better now! :tu:

Thanks for the plugin update! Would it be possible for these two bars to be foldable as well?
There is no MuLab controlled title bar there that can host the fold buttons.
But i've taken note on the wishlist to research the option to include the top controls of the Main Module (the one with the file open/save buttons) into the project top panel (the one that includes the main menu), much alike integrating a main composer's transport into the project top panel.
I've properly researched this idea but unfortunately it's too complicated, because

1) It is at odds with the existing hierarchic structures hence it would take too much effort and exceptional code to realize it, and that could cause new complications too, so it does not feel the right way.

2) The visual result is a bit odd too because when those Main Module top controls are inside the very top area of MuLab plugin, it feels a bit too separated from what it is about. So that's another disadvantage.

3) That control panel is quite wide and it needs enough space in the top area, otherwise it should get back to its original position, above the front panel, as usual. And there are many smaller front panels were that is the case, so when stepping thru presets then that control panel would switch position all the time depending on the width of the front panel... Not ok.

Conclusion: Dropped that idea. A pity of the many hours researching this.
I do understand your request to minimize those main module top controls ( = the one with the preset file controls etc) for the main module in MuLab Plugin, but it will need the right ergonomic and economic solution. Maybe later.

It's OK, no worries, there's much to come yet. Not all is possible at time, A lot of water pass on river..., today no tomorrow... who knows.

I have some suggestions that has to do with the way the sound device is working now, On another post..

Also, I little suggestion about the refresh rate of the CPU meter, is too much, eats CPU cycles.

I'm a "grey head" and must say, the new rack-slider-knob changes look nice. Thanks-

If you nudged the popup, up a little, it would sit in the Mixing desk top bar better. It actually looks like it should even just be a little smaller, from top to bottom of the box, there is plenty of room around the font, and then nudge up a few grains. Its minor and aesthetic, but would probably take you a second to do.

Jo, a couple of bugs:

1. LFO Sync, wrong value when typing it directly.
Tempo sync freq and the precision.gif

2. Names are overlapped by other controls. see M8 vs M9
M8 names correct.png
M9 names are ovelaped.png

The value reflects the controlled value from the input source -- I wish the knob was locked when it wasn't editable, really... I think the idea is when you've not got the sequencer running, you can use the knob to "demo" the effect but the actual value will always be from the input source.

Might be wrong....

MuLab App M9.5.21 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • Oscillator Layer Setup: Fixed issue with the column labels.
  • LFO: Little bug fix when editing a tempo-synced frequency value containing "Cyc/Bt".
Note that you can also input "3/4". It was the ambiguity about the slash that caused the issue. Fixed.
  • MUX Front Panels -> Rack Desk -> Color setup adapted to the new rack coloring method introduced in M9.5.18.
  • Project Browser drawn more separately, and taking rounded corners into account.
  • Live Matrix: Due to a recent change the focused scene header was not drawn correctly anymore. Fixed.
  • New color preferences:
    "Composer Back Color"
    "Live Scene Back Color"
    "Focused Live Scene Back Color"
    "Project Browser Back Color"
    "Property Panel Back Color"
  • Project name is shown centered.
  • Lasso selection in empty modular area caused a crash. Fixed.
  • The "Level Meter Max Level Reset Time" preference now also is listed in the rack desk preference panel and now is expressed in millisecs instead of secs.
  • The "Level Meter High/Medium/Low Color" preferences now also are listed in the rack desk preference panel.
  • Open Project launch dialog: When clicking in the file list, there was a little hickup in the wave animation. Fixed. This also fixes similar short halts in animations when checking for a doubleclick elsewhere in MuLab.
  • Other small improvements.
