That *looks* like the riff from Motley Crue's 'She's got the looks that kill'..Kriminal wrote: It looks like this:

Well, yes... the first couple of pages aren't particularly great (although there are a few good posts, one on flux for example)... but seriously, I've pointed you to that thread because otherwise I'd just be typing out material from it almost word-for-word. This is the internet, and it's all typing... Otherwise we can physically sit in the same room, with a piano, and I can play and talk to you about the exact same things I've written in The Composition Thread.CypherOne wrote: Kim, no offence but several times now you have pointed me to that lengthy thread. I'm quite lazy and learn better from aural and visual examples. I have tried but I repeatedly lose the will to live after only a few minutes of reading all that text. Besides from what I can gather it talks predominantly about verse, bridge, chorus and I don't feel that's particularly helpful in my genre(s).
I know you're only trying to help but given that I haven't had the priviledge of your musical schooling, reading A A A B A A A B B C A D D or whatever means very little. Yes I know I have to start somewhere but that ain't working for me.
Forever,
Kim.

Alright, I have resisted for two days but I cannot hold it in any longer.
To make killer synth lines you need killer synths!
BTW Krim, very Evils Toy circa 1995.

Ah, good old Cubase. IMO not just overly-complicated but the UI looks like it was ported directly from the Spectrum.Kriminal wrote:

I suppose I'm just used to FL Studio now.

Analogue or digital – which is better? There's only one way to find out... FI-I-IGHT!!!
