Yes, that seems to be the problem here with me too. I have a Trash2 license in my account but it’s showing me a crossgrade path instead of upgrade.zvenx wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:13 pmMe too.. though since I bought it yesterday it may be calculating my loyalty based on a different set of criteria.. (that is yesterday it was calculating that I owned Trash 2 and Music Production Bundle 6, bu tI used that update offer yesterday, so now it is calculating based on Neoverb etc (at least that is what the blurb next to the offer says)).Stan Navi wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:09 pm I had yesterday loyalty offer 29$, now it is 49$. Interesting behaviour from Izotope.
yesterday I got the upgrade price, today it seems to be showing me a crossgrade price... (at least in my case)

Actually I gave some fasle info (was remembering it falselyHOTF wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 2:45 pmTrash 2 still runs fine on my system, i'm not even going to bother demoing this.jens wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 2:33 pmIt has a lot less features than Trash 2 - at least:HOTF wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 12:18 pm Just watched the introduction video. Is it just me or this has less features than trash 2?
- each only six bands for both distortion and convolution instead of six
- no user-waveshapes
- no delay module
- no dynamics module (which in Trash 2 includes a gate and a compressor with up to three bands)
- a vastly reduced filter module
This is not Trash 3 (to be fair they also don't call it like that) but a new a lot less powerful plugin that has some of the features of Trash 2.
But to reiterate what I said earlier: one has to wonder who this is actually targeted at.
- it's a maximum of four bands for both the distortion and the dynamics module
- and just a single band for the convolution

Of course, same here - but they could have improved on that quite easily withoutnoiseboyuk wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:01 pmWow, good call on my part.noiseboyuk wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2024 11:19 pm when I logged in, the £19 price just appeared on the page without me doing anything else. I bought before they changed their minds.
Lots of comments about how it's missing this or that from Trash 2. I did find Trash 2 cumbersome and unappealing so ended up not using it.
actually removing features.

Ok, so I bought it without even demoing, because I liked T2 so much, and have been left with both a bad and good impression. Not sure which will win, but I'll start with the bad:
From the offset, I was disturbed that T2 had disappeared from my iZotope account.
I opened the product portal app, and T2 was indeed there, but on the website (the only place I can upgrade) it simply wasn't there.
Ok, whatever. If I didn't buy it, I knew I would spend the next 6 months debating whether I should buy it or not, so I bought it anyway.
Immediately after purchase, I notice that T2 is visible in my website account again...
Well if an upgrade from the old T2 was available, or if the loyalty amount would've been lower if T2 was visible, I guess I'll never know. I paid £47 for the loyalty upgrade without T2.
Ok, not amused, but I install anyway.
Yep, no longer able to move nodes, and the coding seems buggy in FL, Win 10.
I can't bring the plugin to the front by clicking on the gui, which is a basic necessity for any plugin.
So far, the only plugins that exhibit that behaviour for me, are 32bit plugins in old projects.
But iZotope have managed to pull it off with a 64bit VST3 plugin
And on top of that, we are no longer able to manually input numbers by double clicking text box?
And on top of that, we are no longer able to reset a control to default value by double clicking??
[edit: ok I take this statement back, as on 2nd load, it does indeed reset on double click]
Sometimes I think these devs are just trolling us.
Ok, so the good. And honestly, the only thing I can compliment them on, is the sound.
The morphing in the distortion module is hard to compliment, because we could do that and more with the node editing, which they have now removed, but we can indeed morph between distortion types now with automation, so I can see myself having quite a bit of fun automating that.
The convolution module gave me a nice surprise though, with the sounds that I quickly got out of it, and the reverse convos went to a whole new level, when I realised that I could place the convo module before the distortion, and add the reverse whoosh into the distortion.
Didn't spend too long going through all the impulses, but I was impressed at how pleasant sounding, and track-ready some of my results were.
So all in all... yeah, they left me with a bad taste in my mouth, but if I'm honest, this is definitely a plugin I will want to use in my projects. Hoping they can fix the buggy gui, at least though.
They can stick my £47 up their ass, for all I care. This will bring something new to my setup, so that's all I want to think about.

Funny just re installed trash 2 few days ago which works for now with Logic on M1 Silicon to use tubby jammer preset and now this! Really exited and bought the upgrade but unfortunately the preset does not sound the same. So it seems Trash 2 will be in my plugins folder as long as it is compatible.

But T2 isn't Sillicon native, so you're using Rosetta mode for it!?andypryce wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 4:11 pm Funny just re installed trash 2 few days ago which works for now with Logic on M1 Silicon to use tubby jammer preset and now this!
