"System Output" record option suddenly unavailable in Multi Sampler

Odd that it was available to me before but now it is greyed out and unclickable. Is there some kind of configuration that must be set to allow the option?

macOS or Windows? On macOS there is a driver that needs to be installed that isn't available for ARM macs.
