For now I'd already be happy to get a mod matrix. With the new MPE support, you now often have to one modulation for another one.

A lot of good suggestions here. But I hope (actually I'm sure) Diva will stay true to its analog nature. Somehow it's still the synth I like using most. It's really a masterpiece.

Since it's also the most popular u-he Synth, I hope they'll invest some time into a Diva 2 which is backward compatible with the patches of Diva 1. Unlike with Zebra 2 -> Zebra 3, I think they don't even have to change much. Just continue to add good stuff :)

A modulation slot dedicated to the modwheel for most knobs would be nice :)

I think for DIVA to maintain its identity any digital oscillators should be specific vintage ones - like an alphasyntauri additive osc with controllable level of grunge or some type of prophet VS inspired 4 digital single cycle wave + vector mixer setup. No need to step on hive or Zebra's toes.

A dual filtering path would be awesome and a pre filter oscillator level setting would be good and a agressive 18db filter would be cool!!

I feel like a diva 2 that brings it up to spec with hive in terms of routing and modulation would not only be revolutionary but could very lucrative, I think many would support buying more oscs + filters as "DLC" like phase plant does with snap-ins as well (especially if that allowed for things like adding the repro filters if you also own repro, etc)

Diode Ladder Filter (EMS or something)
Polymoog Resonator Emulation in the effects section
Moog CP3 Emulation, even as just a switch in the Moog Mixer section, could be fun.
Option to make Envelopes repeatable
Option to turn LFO's into single shots so that they can be used as extra envelopes when needed
An independent knob for driving the VCA so I don't have to use stuff like the VoiceMap + Add/Multiply to get that Moog filter into overdrive.
Audio input with an envelope following option.

I think this December marks 15 years of Diva.

I doubt we will see a v2 this year, but I'd like to add 2 more FX slots and a CEM Oscillator set (Jupiter-6/MemoryMoog, Prophet can be avoided for obvious reasons) to my wishlist. A lot of the items I first requested years ago have already been done which is great.

This is weird, but the fact that I can't get into Tyrell has led me to never even try Diva yet. I feel like such a weird outlier of a human being.

(I'm definitely a Hive-head, though).

Being totally honest, I can't vibe with Tyrell either and Diva is easily my most-used synthesizer by a country mile.

I've probably made 2 dozen presets in Tyrell, it can sound great, but it's just harder dialing in the sweet spots and the limited architecture isn't my favorite. Whereas Diva is my desert island softsynth. Sure, I wish it had a modern mod matrix, more FX, some more modules, and the stuff in my first post of this thread that hasn't been done, but it's still my #1. It just sounds too good. And I've made over 150 presets for it, which is a lot for me. But I always find something I like in it.

i still use Diva so much but i think they should add a proper mod matrix etc. with vsts reproducting THE ORIGINAL hardwares i get it to replicate the old workflow etc. but Diva should offer modern (i dont like the word...) workflow and easy option with the awesome sound it got.

I have 3 requests:

1. Tone control
2. Better chorus
3. Distortion module

You gotta be kidding me. Chorus on Diva/Hive is best sounding chorus ever made, its like Juno chrous but on steroids. I wish it existed as separate plugin (Hive flanger/phaser aswell).

I really like the way repro handles effects. A similar implementation for diva would be ace. Or a u-he pedalboard-style effects unit that followed the same paradigm. Being able to use velvet with diva and z3 would be amazing
