I like it because I am pretty old school when it comes to composition, so for me it is pretty intuitive. And in any case, a lot of my stuff is too rhythmically dense and difficult to be efficiently entered via a live controller.
But here is the problem: It was written for Windows 98, and I am running XP. The major disadvantage is that it goes all buggy when I try to use its native midi player. This is not huge. But it is getting annoying, because whenever I want to 'proof-listen' a midi file I am working on I have to save it as a midi file, exit the application, and use another player. Slow. Slow. Slow.
So does anyone know of a notation based midi editing tool? OTHER than NoteWorthy? (Tried it, but found it to be too limiting).
Thanks in advance.
