Yes as I said in my edit above Dun and Bradstreet have it as Kirkland Washington just outside of Seattle so it's a little after 1pm there.
Still plenty of time for a release today. U.S. time that is.......

Is everyone in this discussion new users? Waveform has never released on the scheduled date. There are a lot of infrastructure things that have to be setup in their online store: new SKUs, creating the upgrade pricing options for existing users, etc. There's no point in frustrating yourself or others. It'll be available when it's available. You have the stable, bug fixed version 12.5.20 in the meantime.

I'm certainly not a new user, but I wouldn't know that... but either way: if they announce today, they better do their damnedest to make it today, or otherwise they should announce tomorrow (or whatever other day) - they can do what has to be done in the background. The pricing e.g. they could have already fixated last week or before that week, or whenever.cjayconrod wrote: Sat Mar 30, 2024 9:55 pm Is everyone in this discussion new users? If it is really always like this it mean they made a habit out of it, which certainly doesn't flatter them in the least. Other companies don't do that - or if they do, that's a rare exeption which they are quick to publically apologize for - as you do in such a situation.

Fairly sure Tracktion is a Canadian company, not UK or US. You can hear their accents on most of the instructional videos they've released.

Nah... that's not in the slightest anything to go by.

Tracktion is based in the Seattle area, where Woody (Tracktion's CEO) operates. Dave, the lead programmer, lives in the UK. Roland/FigBug--who evidently does absolutely everything else for the company--is a contractor based in the Vancouver area.
Jules is not associated with today's Tracktion and hasn't been for a very long time.
Tracktion, like many companies, outsources their website, training videos, and in the distant past their manual, to outside contractors who have nothing to do with the company past that.

While I don't think Jules does any code specifically for Waveform, he still lists himself as co-founder of TSC from 2012 to PresentWatchful wrote: Sat Mar 30, 2024 11:33 pmJules is not associated with today's Tracktion and hasn't been for a very long time.

Jules is, if I recall, 100% focused on JUCE development, and has no involvement with Tracktion outside of his personal product developments.
