Record and metronome at bottom of standalone interface

Hello,
I am looking for info on the record and metronome on the bottom of Axiom. I can't seem to find anything about it.

From the user manual:

Audio recorder (application only): click on the red circle to record yourself, and then open the audio file by clicking on the folder icon.

The metronome icon is for tap tempo. You can click on it to tap the tempo, or double click on the tempo to enter it manually.
