Serum 2 is in the works, DMG Audio is also involved!

I don't want to make you guys nervous but there has been no Serum 1 update since Oct 11 2023...
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

I liked the simplicity of the Serum but hated the inclusion of wavetables in presets, which feels mini rompler to me. This is the case with all wavetable synths.
I tried Zebralette 3 and I do not need anything else. It is simple and can become complex if we want it to. I don't think any other synth for next several years will even be close to it in terms of technology.

No new synths will help you make the most important thing, better music and all that involves.a9k1tp wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 6:18 pm I liked the simplicity of the Serum but hated the inclusion of wavetables in presets, which feels mini rompler to me. This is the case with all wavetable synths.

Sure, synths are fun but I think most of us have so many possibilities to see us through more time than we already have.
Better to lock yourself away and come up with the goods, based on what you have.
There are no silver bullets in the music game.
Buying synths and effects really does have to stop somewhere, find your somewhere.

All the default Serum presets suck. A wavetable is just a library of static waveforms if that's all you want it to be.a9k1tp wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 6:18 pm I liked the simplicity of the Serum but hated the inclusion of wavetables in presets, which feels mini rompler to me.
