Hi all
I'm running Waveform 13 on Kubuntu @ 1920x1080. I've never really liked the default font and so am after any recommendations for alternatives. If you have a favorite no-default font you'd like to recommended I would appreciate any suggestions.
Also, if anyone has any feedback running Waveform on a 4K monitor do also please let me know as that might be an upgrade worth making.
Thanks, Nick.

I changed to Ariel several versions back and that's what I get despite never changing it again.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I like DM Sans Medium (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/DM+Sans) and IBM Plex Sans Medium (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/IBM+Plex+Sans). I use the later one. It's very clean and legible on monitors even at small sizes.
I've also included Two of my new W13 themes for those, who might like it or take it as a starting point. Especially the light version looks great with the IBM Plex Sans font (shame I don't use light themes

Try re-starting Waveform after changing the font.bungle wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 2:48 am Most nice fonts on Windows don't work properly (garbled text)
Surely there must be consensus by now...

YOu have to restrart Waveform with the new font. Those garbled texts wil get sorted until you change the font again, then you need to restart the DAW again.bungle wrote: Sat Apr 06, 2024 2:48 am So I guess font support is better on Linux than on Windows then?

Well shit, you just made the UI 50% better for me, just by being able to use Roboto and no garbled text, thank you.

Thanks UnionS8 - IBM Plex Sans wins for me! Thanks also for sharing those themes - I might also give them a try.UnionS8 wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 2:51 pm I like DM Sans Medium (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/DM+Sans) and IBM Plex Sans Medium (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/IBM+Plex+Sans). Just for anyone else reading this, as stated earlier by pough, do ensure you restart Waveform after any font change. On my system even though the font changes immediately, the spacing can be all messed up (i.e. in Font settings page) and so you only see the final result once you have restarted.
