The line today - is very clear. All us existing "old school" perp licensees simply carry on. The line tomorrow is unknown - and needless speculation on what "might" happen or "what they can get away with" does nothing but breed chaos and doubt.
As long as perpetual licenses are intact - we are all good. And for those who want the "goodies" - I think the new Hybrid plan is solid now that a perp license is included.
Long term - "They" won't be letting any of us just slip away.
It would be a mortal, unrecoverable wound if they did.
