Congrats for hard work Markus,this will be for sure one of the best synth releases for 2024
I am rebranding to Veletone Music,the site isn't ready,but functional.
Packed 500 'beta' presets for Icarus,start to test them on I3.
Bonus 256 presets for Warlock,total 750+ presets inside,especially ambient lovers will be super satisfied.
Last preset added today - a pad called Morphea.
Will refund 50% of the money to everybody who send me link to instrumental made with these presets.

I have had a crap day at work. I want to upgrade Icarus 2 to Icarus 3. I have an email Delivery information for "Tone2 Icarus3 upgrade with discount". Inside this email I have Icarus3.t2k but what I do not have is a link to version 3.
The link I have is to version 2.5.3.3

What am I doing wrong?

There is a company called freelance sounds that does nks for factory content of many synthsthay don't come with nks, including icarus, for a small fee.

Thanks for the reply - I did not receive the email or if it had arrived it was in the Spam folder. I suspect it might have landed in the Spam folder that I cleaned out yesterday - anyway I have already sent in an email to Tone 2.

$90 for an upgrade is insane. I'd rather simply buy a completely new synth from another company for cheaper than this "upgrade". Wake me up if the upgrade price ever becomes reasonable.

Pick up V1 from Computer Music and upgrade to V3.

Feeling a bit entitled?
For what you're getting it's not a large update fee, try getting that (update) feature list for the same price elsewhere. I gladly paid it, even to just support them.

it is good that people also express their opinion about the upgrade price. i thought so too that this one might be too high, but the list and tone2's quality + no online DRM crap is for me more than enough! + tone2 vsts are so far rock solid. i love Avenger too but it is still so laggy and a slog and also got online drm. if tone2 synths would have some marketing like Avenger it would be more known as well i guess + more presets which blast the listener more. guess one key press presets are more convincing nowadays sadly. love icarus/tone2 and also love avenger but i would clearly choose tone2 synths atm but future is Avenger3 etc. is more possible so you get now what you pay for and thats a lot of different vsts from tone2 portfolio.

in the end, good to give feedback but now either buy or not buy. afaik upgrade prices dont go on sale, if they do just wait.
