Looks like there will be AstroLab 88, AstroLab 61, AstroLab mini: https://device.report/bluetooth/186890

Quote: "AstroLab stands alone as a flexible and powerful keyboard instrument. AstroLab is a hardware synthesizer version of Arturia Analog Lab V software."

Ok, this info was already posted. :hihi:

For you it wouldn't have enough going for it to be your sole keyboard. Let's get that straight.

Having it all in one could be more useful than kludging around a keyboard, audio interface, and a laptop.
So if it's just Analog Lab in a box for $1600 we can assume you will buy it instantly then? And it will be your sole gigging keyboard?

Of course not
So you're answering for me now? No, you don't get that right.

This is your problem. You assume for everyone based on your own personal opinions for yourself. But you aren't the center of the solar system. The planet doesn't revolve around you.

Yet the answer is maybe, maybe not. But it isn't about me. It isn't about you either, shockingly. It is about the broad customer base. Obviously Arturia have done enough research to trust there is a market for whatever they are launching.

They now have an Astrolab Connect app on App Store.

If they can get the 88s keybed right and not run with the low end Tp/100 I may be interested in this, but if they go with another terrible low end fatar again, I’ll pass.

Good find, that confirms it. Here's the link - https://iphoneaddict.fr/apps/musique/as ... t-785.html (https://iphoneaddict.fr/apps/musique/astrolab-connect-785.html)

Looks like it’ll be an array of announcements. The keyboard, the app, and I reckon they’ll have some anniversary soundsets or something for us old timers.

8 knobs, tiny screen....it's looking like a hard pass for me.

It really does look like a hardware Analog Lab. Basic controls for more common adjustments but not enough for serious sound shaping. They will probably expect that to happen on a PC or tablet maybe.

Looks pretty straightforward though.

So, I suppose no MIDI 2.0 onboard?
That's kinda lame, IMO. I mean, nothing really groundbreaking.
Missed opportunity.

$1599 (per liquid audio)

It should have MIDI 2.0.

I’m not interested, but I have a feeling people are going to like this especially for performing.

I wonder if that is for the 88 or 61 key version? Judging from the connect app description, it is definitely marketed towards gig performers and players. Not so much geek programmers.
