Pianos in multisampler

Hi,
I’ve noticed that the pianos available in the waveform multisampler seem to have very abrupt end/release timings.
The key release samples for “Grand Piano” also seem to not actually be mapped in the release mode and along with the harmonics are extremely quiet to the point of not being audible.
There also seems to be pedal up and down noises, but I can’t see an obvious way to map these to the sustain pedal (and its release).

These things may also apply to the Salamander Grand Piano and the YPD pianos but I haven’t checked in detail.

Is this just on my install of Waveform or a known (small) issue.

This is in Waveform 13 Pro on Windows 11 but I think it’s also the case in 12.5 Pro.

It’s nitpicking as I’ve got other detailed piano libraries that I am honestly more likely to use most times but it would be nice for the inbuilt sampler ones to be good too.

Thanks!

Further to this, is there any way to assign sample play to a midi cc, for example cc64 for damper pedal sounds?
It looks like controller modulation should be possible from the icons available by the ADSR icon, but I can’t seem to get it to work right.
Is there a user guide available for the multi sampler as the videos on Tracktion’s YouTube only cover a few things?
