It's probably the most accessible thing I have. Wrote it about a year ago, just mixed it today.

I am sure many of us have already done that as well.gruberman wrote:Ok, here's a new plan.
Give your money to the red cross or one of the charities you trust. The money is needed now and not in 6 months or whatever.
We on KvR can do something NOW and we don't have to wait until "christmas time 45 - the KvR version" is released.
My husband and I have both given money. I gave online the other day to the Red Cross. He gave to the Tsunami fund at our favorite Thai restaurant. (And yes, we trust them). But our ability to give, of course, is so small compared to the need.gruberman wrote:Ok, here's a new plan.

So I spent 7 hours today mixing my song... because that was something I could actually physically DO to help.
I imagine a lot of others donating songs feel the same way. Having my song make it, or not make it, onto the CD is less important than simply making a musical donation so that they have enough songs to choose from. Hopefully as a group we can raise more money with this project than any of us can give individually.
We're musicians. What can we DO in the face of this overwhelming catastrophe? We can DO this.
