wow. never seen anyone ever developing for FL's own plugin format... kudos for thatSuper Piano Hater 64 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 7:14 pm None that are strictly CLAP-only, but certainly some which aren't available in VST. Most of these, for example: https://nakst.itch.io

I mean... FL is pretty popular. Wonder why there isn't more of those.wikter wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 12:54 pmIt's never too late to find the world out there...sQeetz wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 6:33 amwow. never seen anyone ever developing for FL's own plugin format... kudos for thatSuper Piano Hater 64 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 7:14 pm None that are strictly CLAP-only, but certainly some which aren't available in VST. IIRC FL native plugs have some perks over VST like per note automation and such

If you know, you know.
I confess to being curious if it's possible to do a full port to GUI-less CLAP, as in 'for Mac, Windows and Linux, the way my retro and signed stuff is made'. I once had a CLAP all-in-one plugin made, but it was not maintainable the way the VCV Rack port is, and so I don't talk about it anymore. I don't like not fully supporting a format. I've never looked into whether there even IS a GUI-less, just-the-sliders format for CLAP.
If there was, well then I could show you what very lightweight really means

Did i never share this with you chris? That's a pure c (like compiles without a c++ compiler) no gui no external code except for clap implementation of a bad distortion.
it's still on my list to make a side-by-side of the single CLAP with a UI plugin from your stuff exactly the way I did rack. I should just do that one day and set up 'the button' and everything just like we did for VCV.

I love the pid_MIX ID

If you decide to do something like that, maybe you should do a form of the c99-style one arranged so it's fairly obvious where you'd bring over the VST2/DSP code and adapt it. And then point me at it and let me hand-code for months until I have everything individually ported

Fors just released their latest plugin as CLAP and AU(v2) only, macOS only as well. Seems like a risky strategy, but their m4l-only plugins did well enough in the past, so they might be able to pull it off.

Fors Tela is a nice little plugin... I'm using the CLAP version in Bitwig.nanostream wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 9:22 am Fors just released their latest plugin as CLAP and AU(v2) only, macOS only as well.
