Thanks. So from that it looks like 30% is about the floor - but the loyalty discount I get per plugin is the same as it was when the general discount was 25%.ralfrobert wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:11 pmSee here:chrisstiles wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 5:43 pm Anyone know what the deepest discount offered by Fabfilter in the past has been (minus loyalty discounts).

It goes on sale for 29 and you don't have to pay transfer fees, but thanks.
The way forward...

You should have posted: "I will buy Tuco for $29 or less or I'll accept it for free" and see if someone is interested.

Cool. If you need it now, I've got it. If you can wait for a sale, that's a better deal.
Check the re-sellers, don't check the re-sellers. I don't care.

Softube Bad Speaker - $19 (Intro Price)
https://www.softube.com/bad-speaker
The Dirty, the Bad, and the Wasted Collection - $39 (upgrade eligibility checked after sign in)
https://www.softube.com/products/the-di ... collection
Tested it. Does what it does quite well, even though I wish it leaned into the "lofi" aspect a bit more with wobble and noise options. Not sure if there are any alternatives, except AudioThing Speakers, this one is cheaper and seems like a decent addition to your toolbox if you need it. I do have to say, I'm not sure how often I would use it, so didn't buy yet.
After testing it a bit more, surprisingly Hi-Fi speaker mode adds a certain width and overall sounds quite pleasing on almost anything.

It does seem more limited than Speakers though. There's also McDSP Futzbox on the pricier end. Both seem more capable than this Softube offering unless I'm missing something?

It is much more limited than Speakers and Futzbox, but also much cheaper. Speakers has never been under 59$, Futzbox is also quite more expensive. My main idea of using Bad Speaker is selecting Hi-Fi mode, adding width, bass, some drive, mix it with the original source and you can fatten and widen bass quite nicely. For that it seems worth it.

Makes sense! In terms of bass and width another thing you might wanna take a peak at is the Wow Thing by Korneff. It's a whole different kind of thing but a similar price point and I think it's pretty cool https://korneffaudio.com/product/the-wow-thing/
