I love this DAW but...
-The Waveform manual needs some serious attention. Some of the information is outdated and has been changed in current versions, some of the information is missing.
-The stock Waveform plugins should have wrappers/graphics that match the interface of the main application's GUI
-Bugs exist in the standard midi integration with hardware. The Waveform Volume/Pan plugin causes a note off event at (playback) that mutes the sound from external devices (this is observable with the Midi monitor utility). Play back also causes a program change message that changes the voice on external hardware device.

13.0.40 worked to fix that MIDI issue for me; if you haven't done so, submit a ticket through ZenDesk, and try to be as specific as possible (what MIDI hardware you've got, MPE or not, steps you've taken to test/fix it, etc.).
You're sadly very correct about the documentation.
And I've also requested (back with v11) that the bundled plugins be updated cosmetically so they look like they were coded after 2005.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.
