I finally got all set up to try out my recording rig. I'm going from an Edirol FA101 into tracktion on a Mac G4 400 with 640MB RAM running OS 10.3.7. Everything on the FA101 is set up but the problems start when I start using tracktion.
The first problem is that I'm getting no sound out to the FA101. I have all my sound settings outputing to the 101, iTunes outputs to the monitor of the 101. The only way I can hear what I've recorded is by changing the wave device from FA101 to built in audio, which obviously mean that I can't hear what I'm recording.
The other problem is that every track seems to split into a stereo track which means that I only get a left or right. I can change this by setting the active channel.
