I've updated a VST plugin, Reaktor Session, and rescanned VST plugins within Tracktion. But, when I add a filter and load RS, it still loads the previous version.
Oh, I have my VST's in my Computer Muzys VST folder. Should I just copy the dll to the Tracktion folder?
Any help would be appreciated.

(pretty obvious but..)Do you have your Muzys vst folder selected in the tracktion settings? If not Tracktion wont scan that folder.
Also, I've had a similar problem before but I cant remember which plug-in. Anyways it turned out I installed the plug-in twice on accident in two different places. And Tracktion only read the older version.

in settings do you have the button checked to rescan plugins at each new startup? it will only see the update if it rescans the folder, which it does not by default each time

uninstall old version of RS, and install the new version, another thing to try is deleting the file VSTCache in "c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Tracktion\temporary"
that's for WinXP, don't know where the file is for other OSes

I don't think I can uninstall the old version of RS. The upgrades, as far as I know, are installed on top of the previous versions.
I'm at the VST cache, and there is a text file and a VSTcache file...do I just delete them?
