Yes, pretty much. It became scalable for various monitors and some mac compatibility. I personally much prefer the old V1 look.

BTW do you know if the ISL is Apple silicon compatible? Can’t find any info on that.

V1 definitely isn’t (v 2.10.xx brings m1 compatibility) but I can’t any info if v1 and v2 are different products in terms of buying it.

very cheap price but what does this get me compared to things like smart:limit or bluecat dynamics?

If you mean does v1 automatically turn into v2 when you register it, no it doesn't.

I was interested in this new reverb, until I saw its "sale" price. I was hoping it would be a bit less.
Maybe it sounds great, but I can't see spending nearly $300 on a reverb plugin.
