Softube Global MIDI CC...?

When playing with Legend HZ I was reminded how I love Synapse's MIDI CC implementation. It's just saved globally with no fuss - super convenient for my workflow. Softube seems to be the opposite. With Model 80 for example I have to save a MIDI CC map file and load it every time I want to use it in an instance of Model 80. My workaround is a Logic template that has Model 80 with MIDI CC saved in it, but not super convenient. Am I missing a simpler solution? Thanks...

I get around this by saving a channel strip setting in logic. Just need to remember to do that every time. It is an absolute pita though. Their products are so good in pretty much every aspect, this part doesn’t help anyone.

I'm really not sure why they think this is good way of doing things, it sort of feels like something that helps softube when they are developing and testing their plugins - like I can imagine the same machine being moved around to different developers who have different midi controllers, and then each person can then pull up their preferred mapping. Admittedly I'm clutching at straws here, how is it that many other software development companies are able to do this in a way that works well for the user? (totally rhetorical question I know...)
