Anyone know if the ReplikaXT update can be used against the Replika license in Komplete Start? Maybe get the full XT for just £12.50 update price?

If you login to your account it will show if you are eligible when you look at the purchase options.
If you aren't, drop me a PM as I have a license in my account that I can transfer.

It's particularly good at eating CPU cycles (for the console emulation part of the plugin).Ou_Tis wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 7:46 pmAnything it's particularly good at? Looks like it mostly emulates vintage console saturation... got plenty of that through Acustica (not to mention Plugin Alliance, Waves, etc.). And it's got an EQ. And they added some lofi and vinyl algorithms from Unfiltered Audio's Needlepoint and Lo-Fi AF (which I already have). Stereo widener... have plenty of those too.midi sentinel wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 7:38 pmIt is a really good plugin sold through PA, that was being praised. Now that it is available to 'mortals' I can't wait to hear how crap it is and how it was never any good
Anyway - some videos and more details are available at PA site: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... t_mk2.html
Maybe I'll add it to my BF maybe list....
There are threads on Gearspace about it, although some ppl get excited about every new Saturation plugin.
I bought it used for $30 but had to pay extra $20 PA transfer fee (f@#%@^#^!). To me it's fun because I have no console or Saturation plugins, but not sure it is the magic some say it is. If there's a demo, obviously that is a way to find if you like it.

My understanding is it’s a bit of a Frankenstein creation, sort of grabbing their favorites to make a new box.Ou_Tis wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 7:46 pmAnything it's particularly good at? Yeah there's the usual 14 day demo and unprocessed/processed audio examples... which they put on Soundcloud despite its low audio quality. I don't like any of the processed audio examples, so I think I won't bother. At least not until BF.Cavey Arrgh wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 9:16 pmIt's particularly good at eating CPU cycles (for the console emulation part of the plugin).Ou_Tis wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 7:46 pmAnything it's particularly good at? Honestly, it's not blowing me away as much as I thought it would, probably because I already use a lot of saturation plugins and am happy with the ones I have. Maybe I'll like it more when I start a mix from scratch with it.midi sentinel wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 7:38 pm Now that it is available to 'mortals' I can't wait to hear how crap it is and how it was never any good

Considering it’s all modeled stuff, I would think it’d be hard to be impressed especially in the software world where having 4 different plugins in a chain while mixing is nothing.Uncle E wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 6:03 amHonestly, it's not blowing me away as much as I thought it would, probably because I already use a lot of saturation plugins and am happy with the ones I have. I ended up buying it, but haven’t used it. I’ll have to see if using this works for me. Maybe it’s quicker if what they chose works you?

I got Silver Bullet about a month ago with a bundle deal, averaged out to about $17 per plugin if memory serves. Thought it sounded good, even tho cheap. As an old man, I must urge you to DEMO and USE YOUR OWN EARS. Took me too long to really take this sage advice to heart.
A well-behaved signature.

I find it funny that UA provide a 'My Offers' section for my account where the discounted prices are the same ones in the shop. Which is the same price at pluginboutique or sweetwater. So there is no special offer.
One would think, if you own any plugins from a bundle, that the bundles would be further discounted. but no...

What's the current state of Plugin Alliance vouchers, and where does someone go to acquire one? I'm interested in that Bogren bundle, but I'm not sure if a voucher would even apply to it.

Can Jampoints be used on a direct purchase from IKMultimedia from my account as gift to my friend?
