Soooo... All the stuff I used delay cat on crashes upon reloading. In bitwig and Maschine 2. Kills the DAW completely with no error message. Just straight back to the desktop. Intel running Windows 10. Gonna reach out to the company. If they don't have a fix, I'll let y'all know how the return process goes. It's a shame. I was digging this. May be the same crash others are experiencing when switching presets. Hmm

Those 3 more or less allow the user to decide the parameters of the delay/granular processing at a high level.
Delay Cat's approach is more stochastic and the output is to an extent based on the characteristics of what's going through it.
At a user level you're in effect setting weighting what it is selected to be played back from the contents delay line buffer. This is the Concatenative element of Delay Cat. ie. Grouping things on their relative characteristics (loudness, brightness, dullness, timbre etc.)
You can also use these analysis parameters to alter playback parameters like filter cutoff or pitch or pan via an envelope.

Hoping to hear back from these guys regarding returning or fixing this plugin. I haven't played with it much since I realized I can't reload anything.
