For the last maybe ten years my fixed goto eq has been MADEq, goes on virtually everything. When something "new" comes along I will give it a try...and so the question. I find the automation of the sonible eq "ok", not the choices I would have made, but I don't dislike them either. OTOH, the interaction of multiple instances starts sounding quite compelling...anyone else?.../s~

I'm not tempted, personally. Only recently have I seen an eq concept that is "new" (to me), which is the Scaler EQ and its in-key boost / out-of-key cuts. I imagine it to have tons of resonance due to high Qs everywhere, but maybe it's not so bad in reality. Anyway, the way it works is novel (to me).

Of course there are the tonal/transient EQs, which seemed new to most people a couple of years ago, but the same functionality could be done with MFreeFXBundle all along. Considering that, it's fitting that Izotope give away their tonal/transient EQ for free now.
