DIVA Filter trigger question

Does the filter retrigger with each note press and can I set it to override that, for example, have it trigger only via LFO or mod wheel and not also with each note press? I'm trying to see how far I can make it sound more like the SH101 for squelchy bassline purposes. Thanks

The filter panels have modulation inputs where you can change the incoming mod source, just click on the little triangles next to one of the mod depth knobs. The filter doesn't "trigger" in the same sense that an envelope is triggered, it just moves according to the mod inputs. Turn down any modulation from the envelopes, use an LFO on the filter instead. Either it's already set up for one of the mod depth knobs, and if not, click on the small triangle and select a new mod source.

Thanks. I see the mod inputs, but even if i set them to a different parameter, eg lfo with long cycle, that parameter still triggers on each note press. So even if i play notes quicker than the length of the LFO (say it's set to 4/1) the filter still triggers each note press.Viktor [TUC] wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 8:14 am The filter panels have modulation inputs where you can change the incoming mod source, just click on the little triangles next to one of the mod depth knobs. I hope that's clear

The filter does not actually "trigger". Only the 4 possible modulations do, and it might also reset, which it does not do by default. To see which of the 5 is the issue, maybe it would be best to save the preset and post it here.

I think I see the issue: the LFO was set to gate, the default. If i set it to sync, it modulates at the lfo rate regardless of note press.
So far so good. Thanks
