I am new to Tracktion, trying to speed up my workflow. Sorry if this question seems boneheaded...
Is there a way to lasso many clips at once in few tracks, so only what's inside the I and O marks is selected?
Is there some sort of lasso function? Like Protools shift + click inclusive and cntrl + click exclusive?
Note: I know people are going to say "use select all clips in track from marks" or whatever that command is. That command seems to select clips that TOUCH the marks, going before or after, as well as the ones within. So I am not getting a "clean" selection of what I want within the I and O marks, and I have to spend a lot of time splitting everything. For complex edits, this is a real problem for me.
My goal is to move a chorus or whatever quickly, without having to issue a bunch of commands or do a bunch of splits.
Speed up clip selection across many tracks?

Hope this is not too off-topic...
I recently moved over to Tracktion from Audition and I'm wondering if there is a way to join/combine clips within Tracktion that are in one track to make them one piece of audio ?
Thanks !

To combine audio clips in Tracktion you have to render the track. So select the track and choose render. It creates a new file, but you can always go back later and delete all the unused material by selecting the project and choosing "find orphan clips".DJ-RJ wrote:Hope this is not too off-topic...
