Click track timing errors

As a new user of tracktion perhaps some one can help. I turn the click track on and record in time to the click . When I play back I'm slightly in front of the beat. I have a low latency set and E to E off. I am monitoring through Mackie Spike interface.I can slide the track in time with the click and everything then sounds fine. But I get the same problem recording track 2. Is this standard practice or have I set something wrong.

You might want to check the "time adjuct" setting on your audio input in Tracktion. If that is set too high it can "advance" the recorded audio so that it is out of time...

Checked time adjust on inputs it is set to zero. The audio I record is in front of the beat on playback

Yeah, that is what I understood. When I set the time adjust to 150 ms on my system I was able to duplicate what you are describing...maybe setting that to a negative number (-150ms or such) will compensate enough to make it workable....Don't know....just a thought.

Many thanks you put me on the right track.(no pun intended. I tried the auto adjust setting which gave me a value of -43ms. Which greatly improved things. I may have to tweak a bit more to get it just right amount
