What is the stackindex modulation?

I can set LFO to the filter, pretty basic stuff.
I can modulate the rate of the filter with the stackindex on a 2 voice stacked patch (saw someone do this on youtube) and it will 'split' the two voices so that one has the lfo at the set rate, while the other doesn't. Lke having two separate lfo's on one filter.
What exactly is the stackindex doing?
Bonus question: i have, for example, the Dual VCO set up. Is there any way in DIVA itself to modulate the mix parameter?

That a "class 1" RTFM...
A link to the user guide and page would have make the pill easier to swallow...
In my humble view, if you feel the person should not ask the question because of any reason (like it is obvious in the manual) don't answer... No need to RTFM...

To the contrary! I went through the hassle to check what the user guide says. My search for "stack" in the PDF revealed that some of the information is a tad scattered and I suspected that maybe the OP found the information insufficient. Hence...

THe manual says "Voice number (use for e.g. Pan). For detuning, use the Stack Tuning knobs instead. StackIndex values are evenly spread between +1 and -1"Urs wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 12:15 pm Is the user guide not clear enough? Let us know what information it is missing.
I am unclear as to what that means. How does voice number modulate something? What is happening in the process?
And could you also address my second question, thanks

Anyway... I don't disturb you more... Don't want to take away any second of your time developing Zebra 3 lol....

Ok then. I'll post this to the team so maybe they can improve the documentation.ghostwhistler wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 2:15 pmTHe manual says "Voice number (use for e.g. Pan). When you stack voices, a single note plays more than one voice. So if for example Voice Stack is set to 3 and you press a key, you'll hear 3 voices. When numbering those 3 voices, you get Voice 1, Voice 2 and Voice 3. The StackIndex Modulator is assigned a different value for each voice. Those values are evenly distributed between -1 and +1. Voice 1 has a StackIndex Value of -1, Voice 2 has a StackIndex value of 0 and Voice 3 has a StackIndex of +1.
The purpose therein is that when stacking voices, each of the voices can have any modulatable parameter spread among those voices.
Use "Noise & Dual VCO Mix" modulation source and depth. They're found on the "MODIFICATIONS" tab as they go beyond the possibilities of the reference hardware. And could you also address my second question, thanks
