what's wrong with this file? He doesn't have a loop button.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PKsmV9 ... Qldjn/view
files that are repeated can only be stretched from the first one to the right, why not to the left? it's quite inconvenient.
Well, I'll cry, as usual, about my own -
Make the file browser window separate, just like the midi window, please, a separate window that can stretch to the full screen for the second monitor
Please make it possible to manually set the exact value of the controls in the plug-in properties
Please make a small magnetization between the tracks from the left where the names are, so that it would be convenient to quickly change the height of the track, and double-click let it return the size
In general, except for rare plugins, in the 13th version, with the whole concept, there is a certain stability, after 12 storms from update to update, this is very cool.
Wavetable as the Linux version of Serum was a little late, Vital was able to do it earlier, but the idea and implementation are grandiose. How would you look at the DAW Essentials Collection package, bringing it to a serious level, for example, to finish equalizer to the fab q3 level, or maybe even bring Compressor to (God forgive me) Kotelnikov? It's just that, after what I've seen this year, I can hardly imagine your real level of ability. And you can't find anything like this on linux, a full-fledged market takeover
Of course, this is all rather funny, but I would still like some interface updates, somehow more modern, probably, otherwise it is certainly concise, but with all clarity it looks more like a drawing, markup for the future interface.
That's my opinion, don't hit him too hard, but if it doesn't work out otherwise, so be it, knock once, which I'm wrong about

Done!
My main feature requests are: LUFS meter plugin (Master Mix maybe?), CLAP format support and .dawproject save file support.
Thank you.-

With many plugins accepting drag and drop, I wish I could drag and drop 'out' if the arranger window. Eg: directly from clip level into a plugin, or even an external folder.

There's definitely something wrong with that file. Waveform thinks it has 13 beats. Slicex thinks it has 12 beats. It actually has 16 beats, as far as I can tell. If I set it to 16 and re-save it from Slicex* then the new loop works as expected in Waveform.Maarid wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 3:40 pm what's wrong with this file? He doesn't have a loop button.

* Saving from Slicex is its own special issue.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I'm just repeating an earlier bug report as I have had no recent acknowledgement from Tracktion support that this bug is going to be fixed.FigBug wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:44 pm Also, we are starting planning for Tracktion 13.5. On 3 June last year I reported this bug and it was confirmed by Tracktion support: "Since upgrading to Waveform 12.5.3/12.5.4/12.5.5, the majority of my VST2 plugins (including Tracktion's own DAW Essentials Collection, Master Mix and Micro Synth Pack now show a black area either at the top or bottom of the plugin window (also hiding part of the plugin) if Waveform's GUI scaling is set at any percentage other than 100% on a Mac."
The bug is still there in the latest version of Waveform 13.

This is a strange error in general, but sometimes it appears very unexpectedly. Even from time to time, when manipulating the pitch, the loop button may simply disappear on the file, but no matter how hard I tried, I could not reproduce this error to show it.

Features;
- In the piano roll, individual or per midi note automation and or expression and the ability to particularly set each note by user based upon selected midi color. Something along the lines of ADSR (I'm probably communicating this poorly).
- The ability to create my own tags/tag folders and colors in the browser window. And, sorry if this is already possible, if so I haven't been unable to figure it out.

Selecting multiple tracks which have different Track Destinations doesn't show the different tracks they could output to in the Track Destination drop-down menu, if one of the tracks selected is one of the current destinations. Will only show Standard outputs in that context.FigBug wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:44 pm Request your bug fixes, workflow tweaks, and minor new features in this thread.
Rendering individual tracks is non-functional if Track Destination is anything other than Default Output, even if Pass Through Plugins is unticked.
The option "automatically show midi toolbar" doesn't work.
The option "Auto update on note resize" for midi note length doesn't work (is always on even if unticked).
Snap-to-grid can be quite annoying to work with for the timeline cursor at wide views, jumps a bit, you tend to have to zoom in a little to make it usable. ie. the snap matches the grid lines in the time bar, not the grid lines shown in the edit, which are often smaller.
Minor quality-of-life thing: currently you have to click on the "Render" button twice when rendering a track, if you've changed the output filename and haven't hit Enter on the keyboard.
The OpenGL renderer is much faster, compared to the software one which 'judders' with complex edits, so you might want to make OpenGL the default,
however I've noticed it kind of flickers between displaying light audio blocks with no waveform inside them, and the correctly-displayed blocks-with-waveforms, when you scroll up and down. Don't see a reason why that should be the case. Surely those textures could be cached on the GPU ram? This is on edits with hundreds and hundreds of individual clips from cutting and processing vocals for audiobooks.
Please restore the ability to "draw" in midi notes of inspecific lengths ie. starting from 0 and going to whatever length, rather than plotting out midi notes of set lengths or starting from the previously-plotted length. This basic functionality for anyone writing anything other than 4-on-the-floor techno is missing, and has been since t2 (present in t1).
Please make rendered tracks render to the length of clips on those tracks, not the length of the edit, if Only Render Marked Region is not selected. Would save a lot of time.
Also please give the ability to prevent the plugin popup menu from showing the plugin root folder name in subfolder titles - super distracting when working with large numbers of plugins and plugin folders. I imagine most long-standing DAW users are like myself and have their plugins categorized in folders.
This is all I can come up with after 10-30 minutes of playing with it.
Oh, and PLEASE don't ever force the use of a download manager ala Native Instruments - keep the individual links available for the software packages. Otherwise, it means that at a later point, if you have projects that only work in an older version of Waveform, they can't be used unless your server still provides those versions. Not cool. I've still got projects that will only work correctly in T5 or T7.

Also, please give a smarter (shortcut) duplicate option that snapshots the current marked region and pastes at the end of the marked region, rather than immediately after the last currently selected clip. (Polyrhythms are cool, but not that cool
Bring the API/shortcuts up to date to reflect all the current additions and improvements.
Automation clips that can be saved and recalled and freely assigned.
A pop out, high resolution lfo/envelope/mseg editor that can be saved and assigned as a modifier would be huge!!!

Hi, I would like to be able to undo all actions, whether it's in the volume - pan or in other vst and vsti.
I need a keyboard option for quantization "q" or "alt-q".
It is very important that when creating a submix, all tracks should be directed to the submix, and now it looks like a folder,
therefore, now all routing is done with the mouse and not automatically, it takes time.
the top of midi and audio was red, now it's black - you need to be able to adjust it yourself, it could be transparent because it blocks the audio wave.
standard eq and other instruments, especially the analyzer, are completely uninformative and unpleasant to use
we could contact Pseudo stereo (Yuri Smenov)
and include it in the WF package vst

By the way, yes. It would really not hurt, and it seems to me that anyone would agree with me, to refine such socalab tools and make them part of the daw, like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and tone generator, only to make them scalable, more visually informative and especially for the spectrum to correct the output back to stereo. And also, add a tuner and vu meter to them, by the way, it would be nice to add a full-featured volume meter, rms, true peak, etc. to the pro version.
And how much there is a lack of the ability to link automation to a specific clip and the ability to duplicate them together, instead of the copying method that exists, words cannot describe.

Feature request: WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Please note that I am not asking for extended undo features. I just want a historical list of key-presses that have resulted in something happening due to keyboard shortcuts.
A fair number of help requests here have to do with users having pressed keys that resulted in unwanted actions and they didn't even know that it happened. For example, pressing the letter Y and turning on automation read. Suddenly, ghosts are messing with their song. For myself, I sometimes look down at the keyboard to type and only afterwards notice that I wasn't in a typed entry context and just... did a bunch of things.
