Am I right in remembering that IK’s upgrade prices from previous bundles are barely better than the crossgrade prices from owning any of their products? I already own most TRacks plugins as singles and I’m thinking that it’s probably not worth it to jump on this deal as a way to get cheaper access to the impending new bundle version.

I think the best thing to do in general regarding IK Multimedia products is to see every product as not upgradable. Then you won't be dissapointed when the upgrade price is the same as a promotion to buy it from new. Instead just wait to buy their products until they are on a good sale and stop supporting them when they release overpriced products.

I too hope that T-Racks plugins are not discontinued. They are some of the most loved and used effects plugins here.

But I understand people's frustrations with their pricing scheme. The fact that even though I had already purchased 44 of the 53 plugins I only got $7 off the price someone who has never done business with IK before could pay today and that's only because I used Jam Points which were earned from other purchases like Sampletank, Syntronik, Miroslav, Expansions, etc going back many many years.

But I went ahead and purchased Max from the IK site because as I said I love the plugins but the way they set upgrade pricing does leave a very bad taste in my mouth and has for a very long time.

It's more likely the end of T-Racks 5. 6 is probably due out soon and hopefully it allows installing only owned modules as was promised in the past. That would take care of one of the biggest complaints from customers.

That would be awesome. Tonex is awesome and that technology can be easily applied to studio processors.
