MSF Question

I would like to invert the signal (flip the polarity) in an MSF instrument I'm fiddling around with. Is the best way to do that with a Math module using Invert? I've never figured out what Math is all about. If Math with Invert is the way to go, is it just inserting the Math module in the signal path, setting it to Invert, and that's it?
I know I could do this with a Waveshaper module, but that seems like overkill.

Pretty much.
I just did a quick test of splitting a signal (a simple sine wave) using the LR to L&R module. Put the Math module with Inverse Polarity Mode set on one of the signal paths. The mixed the signals equally. I got no signal - basically a null test.
This worked either in the Generator section or the FX section.

Same result using ratio splitter. This is a null.

I think Utility has this too. But Math would actually be tiny bit more efficient probably

I thought so too, but I couldn't find a Utility module - the closest thing seems to be the Volume/Panning module, which doesn't do anything more than the name implies. It would be really nice to provide many of the capabilities in MUtility (which does have, among many other things, a phase invert). MUtility is one of my most-used plug-ins. It comes in handy in all kinds of situations. Putting something akin to it in MSF would be quite wonderful.MeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:08 am I think Utility has this too. Aha, hmm, there's no utility, interesting
, I'll probably add it then.
