Cool, did you get one of them 6 month free r+ offers with a midi controller/keyboard etc
I did with a purchase of a MPK261 so I really can't complain for the freebie. I don't have any plans to extend beyond the 6 month subscription once it expires or purchase a perpetual upgrade license from Reason 12 which I own unless they add custom tags and custom favorites for devices by then.
I really miss my MPK249. I still have it, but I stopped using it cos one of the keys went dodgy. Tried taking it apart and cleaning it but it didn't work. Plugged it in the other day after a couple of years just sat there and now it just powers up but doesn't communicate with the computer. Booooo. Sucks cos I like the feel of it a hell of a lot more than my Keylab Essentials 61.

No I didn’t , I’ve been Reason + user since the very beginning so I get everything for free including sound-packs as well :)

Well, everything for the cost of the yearly subscription (and you have nothing when you stop paying). Don't get me wrong, if all you do everything with Reason+ you are probably spending a lot less than most people, so it isn't necessarily a bad deal!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

This!

I also suspect that most R+ users don't buy any 3rd-party Rack Extensions, as you can't use those either when your subscription ends.
CrimsonWarlock aka TechnoGremlin, Moved to Reason and Rack Extensions exclusively (from Reaper and VSTs) several years ago.

I updated and paid the 200 Euros. Why ? I like the app and the instruments. And the players.

Same. And after using 13 all day yesterday I really feel like this was a great update. Reason feels faster than ever to me and I'm really starting to get used to this new browser.

is there a quick method in Reason to blend 1-4 instruments or FX paths? I always lose motivation here, especially knowing that in Bitwig, it takes zero clicks.

this is the XYInstrument device in Bitwig with 1-4 pockets

or

actually, blending isn't the problem because I can set it up once with one of the xy CV devices + a mixer. but right now, I can't figure out how to replace the ParSeq8, so the blending itself needs to remain intuitive.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

What do you mean blend? You can combine chains of instruments and effects as a combinator device, takes 1 click.

He means crossfade between instruments/effects/chains

If you already have the blending set up and you simply want to replace ParSeq8 in that video, then is this effectively what you're saying you want?
- Output pre-defined X and Y values on each step
- Additionally scale the output for each step

If so, I think you can do this with the curve output of 3 matrix devices:
- One for X
- One for Y
- One for scale
You'd hook them to Thor's CV ins and use the mod matrix to output X*scale and Y*scale. Use those to control your XY pad device.

Synchronous and Thor's step sequencer are other stock devices that can probably achieve something similar. And there are REs that could make it easier.

Although that’s less than 11k if only 54 people upgrade so not the best return

Might be unhappy at the 70% who are in the no/unsure camp.
