W13: hung notes

Hello,

since W13 I started experiencing hung notes during recording of simple one-channel performance (just notes w/o any controllers). It is recorded properly but the problem is with auditioning (input monitoring) while recording.

Only one instance of Kontakt 7 in plugin chain, Roland hardware controller as input.

If I perform the same way without recording, everything is OK.

edit: occurs with any synth plugin as well as hardware MIDI output

Thank you. I thought I might be going nuts since I've been getting stuck notes as well with various VSTi instruments. I'm running 13.0.44 Pro on Win 10 and I don't remember noticing it in earlier versions, at least to the point where it caught my attention.

Nothing has changed in my MIDI settings or with my controller. Do you plan on submitting a support ticket on the issue?

Hello, I've been away for a while.

Thanks for your response, I thought I am alone with this issue.

I posted the support ticket, thanks for tip!


edit: right after installing v13.1.2 I played 6-minutes semi-complex piano performance, got around 6 clearly audible stuck notes, surely more of them occured during more complex passages, but were reset immidiately after retriggering.

So definitely still an issue to be addressed.

I just installed the 13.1.2 update but haven't had a chance to give it a good testing. I'll report back if I get any stuck notes.

I did one stuck note today when playing a lead line but I was throwing a fairly rapid succession of notes at WF and it only happened once in the session so it seems to be better now with 13.1.2

Thanks, I also have a feeling it is slightly better in this version but still occurs too often not to bother.

I hope they find a way. I tried anything I could think of but it seems there is no rule for under what circumstances the problem occurs.

Anyone else faces same problem?
